§ 471j. License—Application

(a) Every candidate to the practice of the profession of chemist in Puerto Rico must complete an application form provided by the Board for such purposes. Said application form must be accompanied by the fees, hereinafter specified, on the official receipt issued by an Internal Revenue Collection Office in order to obtain a license by means of an examination.

(b) The candidate for a license shall also include a good conduct certificate issued by the Police of Puerto Rico within the six (6) months prior to the date on which the license application is filed and satisfactory evidence of being a bona fide resident of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

(c) The candidate shall present evidence of having approved the corresponding academic degree indicated in § 471k of this title.
