§ 281k. License—Denial

The Board may deny a license to practice the profession of medical technologist to any person who:

(1) Tries to obtain a license by means of fraud or deceit; or

(2) does not meet the requirements established in §§ 281—281p of this title for the granting of a license; or

(3) has been found mentally incompetent by a court of competent jurisdiction; or

(4) is addicted to narcotic drugs or is a confirmed alcoholic, or

(5) has been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor implying moral turpitude and it is shown that the crime for which he/she was convicted is substantially related to the qualifications, functions and duties of the medical technologist’s profession.
