A temporary license shall be issued to:
(a) Any student who has graduated from a bachelor’s degree program in nuclear medicine technology approved by an accrediting agency recognized in Puerto Rico or from an equivalent foreign school or university duly accredited and recognized by the Board, and who has shown to have initiated the application process to take the certification examination of the “NMTCB,” before the approval of this act or the certification examination offered by the Board after the approval of this act. Said person must also comply with the provisions of subsections (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g) and (i) of § 4007 of this title.
(b) Any person with an Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or any other who has been trained in this field and is practicing as [a] nuclear medicine technologist, before the approval of this act and after the year 1978. Furthermore, said person must comply with the provisions of subsections (a), (c), (e), (f), (g) and (i) of § 4007 of this title.
