§ 3248. License—Provisional; issuance and terms

The Board shall issue a provisional license which shall be valid for a maximum unpostponable term of three (3) years to each applicant who meets the requirements specified in subsections (a)—(g) of § 3247 of this title, including having obtained as a minimum the Master’s Degree required by this chapter, pending compliance of what is established in subsection (h) of § 3247. Should the above term expire and the candidate fails to meet the requirements of subsection (h) of § 3247 of this title, without obtaining a professional counselor license duly issued by the Board, said provisional license shall expire and the applicant shall be bound to submit a new application pursuant to § 3247 of this title, and again comply with all the requirements thereof.
