(a) The Board will grant a license without examination to any applicant who is a bona fide resident of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, who holds a doctor or master degree in psychology from an accredited university, college or study center, as defined in § 3202(b) of this title, and who is practicing as such on the date of its approval.
Interested parties must file their application before the Board within a term of six (6) months counting from the date that the Board is appointed by the Governor of Puerto Rico and takes office.
(b) The Board shall grant a license without an examination to any applicant who is a bona fide resident of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, who at the moment this act is approved was practicing the profession as psychologist, with thirty (30) or more graduate credits in psychology from an accredited university, college or study center as defined in § 3202(b) of this title.
(c) The Board shall grant a license without examination to any applicant who is a bona fide resident of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and who, as of February 28, 1985, holds a doctor’s or master’s degree in psychology from an accredited university, college or study center as the term is defined in § 3202(b) of this title, and who is a practicing psychologist on that date.
The persons interested in availing themselves of what is provided in subsections (b) and (c) of this section must file their application before the Board within a period of six (6) months counting from the date of approval of this amendment.
