The Secretary of State may adopt regulations to standardize the administrative processes for administering examinations, granting licenses and adjudicating the complaints of the examining boards attached to the Department of State, pursuant to the provisions of the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, §§ 2101 et seq. of Title 3. Provided, That the uniform regulations to be adopted shall provide for the examinations offered by the examining boards to candidates aspiring to practice the diverse professions, to be offered in Spanish or in English, at the request of the candidate.
Said uniform regulations shall be effective for all the boards except for those that adopt regulations in the same field after the approval of the uniform regulations, or indicate their exclusion therefrom because they have similar regulations in effect which were adopted in accordance with §§ 2101 et seq. of Title 3.
