§ 1323. Sanitary equipment

It is hereby established that in all new construction works begun after July 1, 2001, the sanitary equipment installed in the restrooms of new buildings under construction must be of low water consumption; and that after the date previously mentioned, sanitary appliances already existing in facilities of the Puerto Rico Government, its agencies, municipalities and instrumentalities which must be replaced shall be substituted with those of low water consumption; and to determine that, the Regulations and Permits Administration shall implement the corresponding regulations for compliance with this chapter.
