The moneys of the Program shall be accounted for in the books of the Secretary of the Treasury separate from any other funds that the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources may receive and without a specific fiscal year. Said funds shall be used for the protection areas of natural interest in Puerto Rico under the custody and the administration of the Secretary of Natural and Environmental Resources, for the acquisition, restoring and management of the lands included in the inventory prepared by the Natural Patrimony Program.
