§ 204. Penalties

Any violation of any provision of this chapter or its regulations shall constitute a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, the accused shall be punished by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor greater than five thousand dollars ($5,000), or imprisonment for a term of not less than five (5) days nor more than ninety (90) days, or both penalties at the discretion of the court.

The violation by any natural or juridical person of any resolution, decision, or order issued by the Secretary of Natural and Environmental Resources under this chapter or its regulations shall also constitute a misdemeanor punishable by the aforementioned penalties.
