(a) Importing birds of prey for falconry shall be allowed upon authorization by the Secretary as established in the New Wildlife Act of Puerto Rico with regards to importing wildlife specimens. The Secretary shall establish, through regulations, any other condition or requirement for importing birds of prey.
(b) If importing from outside of the territory of the United States of America, all applicable national and international laws shall be complied with, including the International Convention on Trading Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
