§ 73d. Falconry examination

The Department shall provide an examination for all who wish to obtain a falconry license. Said examination shall be approved with a minimum score of eighty percent (80%). The approval of the examination, together with the other requirements set forth by the Secretary through regulations, shall allow the person to become a Falconry Apprentice as established in this chapter. The examination shall include basic aspects of falconry as a sport, as well as wildlife biology with an emphasis in the biology and identification of birds of prey and hunting birds in Puerto Rico, and state (Puerto Rico) and Federal (United States of America) legislation on falconry. The dates and places for the examination shall be established each year by the Secretary and be notified to applicants not less than thirty (30) days in advance.
