Any retirement annuity or otherwise provided in this subchapter, shall be for life, and shall be paid in monthly installments. Said annuity shall not be reduced, revoked nor repealed, except when granted by mistake or when explicitly provided otherwise in this subchapter. These annuities may be increased by law.
