§ 2314. Contracting of private purveyors

Subject to the provisions of [this] chapter, the government dependencies shall establish internally an assistance program for employees and their immediate family members as a part of the dependency, or by contracting private purveyors. In both cases the Assistance Program for Employees and their Immediate Family Members shall be subject to this chapter, to the regulations approved thereunder by the Mental Health and Addiction Services Administration “ASSMCA” and to the Manual of Norms and Procedures so distributed.

In the case of the contracting of a private assistance program for employees and their immediate family members, the Mental Health and Addiction Services Administration “ASSMCA” shall have the responsibility of evaluating the same and certifying that the services providers meet all the requirements in effect in order to be contracted.
