§ 2253. Publication of regulations

Every agency shall publish in the Department of State and in the Office of the Small Business Ombudsman, the regulations that govern their jurisdiction and those expected to be established in the future, stating:

(1) A brief description of the topic of the regulation that the agency plans to propose or promulgate that shall probably have a significant financial impact on a substantial number of small businesses.

(2) A summary of the nature of each regulation under consideration for each topic listed in the agency pursuant to subsection (1) of this section, the objectives and legal grounds to issue the regulations, and a tentative program to complement the processing of any regulations that the agency has publicly notified.

(3) The name and telephone number of an official of the agency who is cognizant of the sections listed in subsection (1) of this section.

(4) The agenda to make the regulations flexible shall be remitted to the Small Businesses Ombudsman, for his/her comments, if any.

(5) The agency shall publish said agenda, for one (1) single day, in a newspaper of general circulation.

(6) Nothing that is stated in this section shall exempt any agency from considering or taking action on any matter not included in the agenda, or to require the agency to consider or take action on any matter listed in the agenda.
