The Commonwealth Forest Service shall be in charge of the development and guarding of the forests and mangrove swamps that are under the custody of the department; it shall take care of the development, protection, and distribution of trees for public and private purposes; it shall be its duty to replant the forests of the Government of Puerto Rico, and it shall import foreign trees and shrubs.
This service shall establish, develop, and maintain a forest station and as many substations as may be necessary for the performance of the duties imposed upon it by §§ 351—362, 366—375 and 381—385 of this title.
