§ 285a. Charges for collection efforts and transactions—Imposition of the charges

The charge to be collected, pursuant to the provisions of § 285 of this title, shall be five percent (5%) of the total collected through the collection efforts and transactions performed by the Secretary of the Treasury or an authorized representative.
