§ 9295. Statute of limitations not to run during emergency period for government entity

Any action that, but for the enactment of this chapter, would have been maintainable against a government entity at any time during the emergency period for such government entity shall not be barred by any provision of Puerto Rico law, nor by any defense of laches, during the period of one year after the expiration of the emergency period. This section shall not be construed to shorten the period within which any such action may be commenced.
