§ 197. Cooperation with federal government—Receipt and disbursement of funds

The Secretary of the Treasury of Puerto Rico shall receive:

(1) The funds granted to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico for the aforesaid purposes by the federal government, the Commonwealth Government and other sources;

(2) shall have the custody of said funds;

(3) shall deposit them in the Health Fund.

The Secretary of the Treasury of Puerto Rico is hereby empowered and directed to disburse said funds upon certification of the Secretary of Health and warrant signed by the Secretary of the Treasury of Puerto Rico, subject solely to the provisions and limitations of Titles 5 and 6 of the Federal Social Security Act approved August 14, 1935, as said law of Congress may be subsequently amended, and to the provisions and limitations of §§ 191—197 of this title.
