§ VI. Commercial Development Administration

The Department of Commerce is hereby renamed the Commercial Development Administration and is attached to the Department. The Commercial Development Administration shall operate under Act No. 132 of July 19, 1960.

The Commercial Development Administration shall be responsible for promoting the establishment and development of small and medium-sized businesses, and providing the latter with the necessary support to facilitate their operations.

The Administrator shall answer directly to the Secretary of the Department and shall render any reports that are required. The Governor shall appoint the Administrator with the advice and consent of the Senate, and shall fix his/her salary.
