§ 2623. Compelling commissioner to perform functions

The acceptance by the commissioner of the appointment shall entitle each and every interested party to compel him to perform his functions within a reasonable time, according to the importance and the difficulty of the division; and should he fail or neglect to do so, any party may apply to the judge of the Court of First Instance for an order directing him to do so.
