§ 4811. Alteration and use of personal information in files

Any person who, without being authorized to do so, takes possession, uses, modifies or alters to the detriment of the owner of said information or of a third party, reserved, private, or family information of a personal nature belonging to another which is recorded on disks or in electronic data files, or other type of file or register, whether public or private, shall incur a fourth degree felony.
