§ 3947. Sale of rights, etc., as a whole

A person who sells for a total or lump sum certain rights, incomes, or products, as a whole, shall perform by answering for the legitimacy of the whole in general, but he shall not be obliged to warrant each of the parts of which it may be composed, unless in the case of eviction of the whole or of the greater part.
