§ 2823. Rights of heirs after payment of debts and legacies; account of administrator other than heir

After the creditors and legatees are paid, the heirs shall have the full enjoyment of the remainder of the estate.

Should the estate have been administered by another person, he shall give an account of his administration to the heir, under the liability imposed by the preceding section.
