§ 2787. Acceptance and repudiation of inheritance—Period for declaration of intention

Should a third person in interest institute a suit to compel the heir to accept or to repudiate the inheritance, the Court of First Instance shall fix a period for the latter, not exceeding thirty days, within which he shall declare his intention, warning him that should he not do so the inheritance shall be considered as accepted.
