§ 2778. Acceptance and repudiation of inheritance—Deaf mutes

Deaf mutes who know how to read and write shall accept or decline the inheritance in person, or by means of a representative in accordance with the law. If they do not know how to read or write, their guardian shall accept it under benefit of inventory, subject to the provisions in respect to this disability contained in § 707 of this title.
