§ 2500. Acceptance and repudiation—Parts of legacy

The legatee cannot accept a part of the legacy and repudiate the other part, should the latter be onerous to him.

Should he die before accepting the legacy, leaving several heirs, one of them may accept and another repudiate the part pertaining to him in the legacy.
