§ 2370. Renunciation or compromise of future legal portion

All renunciations or compromises with regard to a future legal portion between the persons owing it and their heirs by force of law are void, and the latter may claim it upon the death of the former; but they must bring into the collation whatever they may have received by reason of there renunciation or compromise.
