§ 2258. Bequest of ward in favor of guardian

Neither shall the testamentary provisions of the ward in favor of his guardian, made before the final accounts of the latter have been approved, be valid, even though the testator should die after their approval.

However, the provisions made by the ward in favor of the guardian when the latter is his or her ascendant, descendant, brother, sister, or spouse shall be valid.
