§ 168. Appearance or proof of existence—After absolute possession

If the absentee appear or his existence be proven after others have been put into absolute possession of his estate, he shall recover the said estate in the condition in which it may be, as also the value of such part of it as has been sold or such property as has been bought with the proceeds of the disposal of his estate.
