§ 166. Discharge of securities and distribution of estate

After the resolution of the presumption of death the securities given to guarantee the provisional possession shall be discharged and the succession to the estate of the absentee opened, and its distribution and proper disposal among his heirs be proceeded with in accordance with law.

Persons having in charge the property of the absentee shall restore the same to the heirs.
