§ 2251. Registration—Persons who may register

A request for registration in the Registry may be made indiscriminately by:

(a) A person who acquires the right.

(b) A person who conveys the right.

(c) A person who is interested in securing the right to be registered.

(d) A person representing any of the above, it being deemed that the person who presents documents at the Registry for the purpose of applying for a registration, even though said person acts as the verbal agent of an interested party, shall be included. In the case of an agent, the name of the principal shall be noted in the Day Book.
