§ 2152. Books and folios—Registry unit; uniformity; precautions against fraud

The Property Registry shall be kept, considering each property as a registry unit and assigning a separate folio to each property, and the information shall be stored in the system, consistent with the uniform requirements which must be consigned for all sections pursuant to this subtitle, but with specific identification of each section or territorial demarcation. Said folios, information, and the systems to operate them, shall be designed with every precaution for their preservation and the avoidance of fraud, falsification, deterioration, loss or misplacement.

Figures and abbreviations may be used in the manner prescribed by regulations, as well as any photographic, mechanical, or any other system that may facilitate the organization and operation of the Registry in all its aspects.
