§ 2107. Penalties

Persons violating §§ 2101—2108 of this title shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished, for the first offense, by a minimum fine of ten (10) dollars and a maximum fine of twenty-five (25) dollars, or by one day in jail for each dollar they fail to pay, or by both penalties; and if they are recidivists, by a minimum fine of fifty (50) dollars and a maximum fine of one hundred (100) dollars, or by one day in jail for each dollar they fail to pay, or by both penalties, in the discretion of the court.
