§ 4171. Definitions

For purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have the meaning indicated hereinbelow:

(a) Gasoline.— Means, includes and comprises gasoline, benzene, naphtha and any other liquid prepared, advertised, offered for sale, sold to be used for, or used for the generation of power or energy needed to propel motor vehicles, including any product obtained by mixing one or more petroleum by-products, or of natural gas or of any other origin, if the resulting product can be given the same use.

(b) Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether.— Means methyl tertiary butyl ether and tertiary butyl alcohol (product derived when tertiary butyl ether is disintegrated in the environment).

(c) DACO.— Means the Department of Consumer Affairs.

(d) EQB.— Means the Environmental Quality Board.
