Any violation of any of the provisions of this chapter by a distributor or exhibitor shall be a felony and shall be subject to the payment of a fine of not less than five hundred [dollars] ($500), nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) to be fixed in the court’s discretion. He shall likewise be subject to sanctions and legal actions pursuant to § 259 of this title.
