§ 1714. Expenses of delivery in commercial sales

The expenses of the delivery of merchandise in commercial sales shall be defrayed by the vendor until the merchandise is placed at the disposal of the purchaser, weighed or measured, unless there is an agreement to the contrary.

The expenses arising from the receipt and removal of the merchandise from the place of delivery shall be defrayed by the purchaser.
