§ 1586. Delegation of powers forbidden

Without the consent of their principals, neither factors nor shop clerks of commerce may delegate to others the commissions they receive from the former; and should they do so without such consent, they shall be directly responsible for the actions of the substitutes and for the obligations contracted by them.
