§ 1303. Exceptions

The following are excepted from the provisions of § 1302 of this title:

(1) Such contracts as, pursuant to the provisions of this Code or of special laws, must be reduced to writing, or the validity of which requires certain necessary forms or formalities.

(2) Contracts executed in foreign countries where the law requires certain deeds, forms, or formalities before such contracts are valid, although such deeds, forms, or formalities may not be required by the laws of Puerto Rico.

In either case, contracts, not meeting the conditions respectively required, shall produce no obligation or cause of action.
