§ 953. Other businesses prohibited

(a) Other businesses in the same office.—No concessionaire may engage in the small personals loan business in any office or place of business in which other commercial transactions are conducted unless authorized by the Commissioner. The Commissioner shall revoke the authorization if he finds, after giving ten (10) days’ notice to the concessionaire and opportunity to be heard, that the other transactions facilitate or mask the evasion of the provisions of this chapter.

(b) Businesses in authorized offices.—A concessionaire may engage in the business of making loans under this chapter, solely and exclusively in or from an authorized office; Provided, That nothing herein contained shall be construed as limiting the loans a concessionaire may grant to residents of the community where the office is located.
