§ 365. Revocation of warehouseman’s license

The Secretary of Agriculture may, after opportunity for a hearing has been afforded to the licensee concerned, suspend or revoke any license issued to any warehouseman authorized hereunder, for any violation of or failure to comply with any provisions of §§ 341—371 of this title or of the rules and regulations issued hereunder or for having collected unreasonable or exorbitant fees for services rendered. Pending investigation, the Secretary of Agriculture, whenever he deems necessary, may suspend a license temporarily, without a hearing. Whenever it is necessary to revoke the license of a warehouseman licensed under §§ 341—371 of this title, the Secretary of Agriculture may take charge of such warehouse, and shall publish such revocation in the press or by such other means as he may deem convenient. The expenses incurred by the Secretary of Agriculture in the management of such warehouse when he takes charge, shall be reimbursed to him in accordance with such rules and regulations as the Secretary may prescribe.
