All meat introduced from the United States and from foreign countries for its marketing in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall come from slaughterhouses approved as official establishments and subject to inspection by the Department of Agriculture of the United States.
The Secretary is hereby empowered to establish by regulations, the conditions relating to temperature and wholesomeness under which meat shall be kept, from the time of leaving such slaughterhouses until arrival in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico for marketing.
