§ 4250. Tearing off or defacing documents or propaganda of candidates or political parties

Any person who willfully and knowingly tears off or defaces any election-related document or propaganda of candidates or political parties displayed in public places shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, be punished by imprisonment for a term not to exceed six (6) months or by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500), or both penalties, at the discretion of the court.
