§ 622g. Rulemaking authority

In order to discharge the powers and duties imposed under this chapter, the Board of Election Comptrollers of the Office of the Election Comptroller is hereby empowered, as the case may be, to adopt, amend, and/or repeal:

(a) Any bylaws and necessary operating guidelines for structuring and operating the Office of the Election Comptroller in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and any other applicable law.

(b) Any regulations to establish the procedure to be followed when carrying out any oversight and enforcement powers conferred under this chapter; the necessary regulations to establish the collection of fees, duties and charges, upon previous approval, pursuant to the applicable provisions; regulations that shall guarantee that the audits shall be conducted simultaneously for all the candidates to the same office, including those who have not been elected.
