§ 232t. Inapplicability of existing laws

The provisions of §§ 1 et seq. of this title, known as the “Banking Law”, nor the provisions of §§ 998 et seq. of Title 10, which fix the maximum interest rates or charges permitted on loans, nor § 4591 of Title 31, which fixes the interest rates in the absence of an agreement and the maximum interest rates that can be fixed by special agreements. Notwithstanding the above, nothing in §§ 232 et seq. of this title shall be understood to be a limitation of the powers of the Governor of Puerto Rico or of the person designated by him, conferred in §§ 204 and 205-215 of this title.
