§ 204b. Abbreviated title; use of the term “bank”

Any bank organized under the provisions of §§ 1 et seq. of this title and any foreign bank doing business in Puerto Rico under the provisions of §§ 1 et seq. of this title, before or after it has become effective, shall be governed by its provisions. Sections 1 et seq. of this title shall not impair, restrict or affect the rights, privileges and immunities conferred or acquired under to any law prior to the approval of this act. Sections 1 et seq. of this title shall neither impair, restrict or affect any pending lawsuits or causes of action that have arisen; nor the duties, restrictions, obligations and penalties imposed or required by prior laws or pursuant thereto.
