§ 5257. Vietnam Veterans Day

(a) March 30 of each year is hereby designated as “Vietnam Veterans Day” in Puerto Rico to honor all veterans who participated in this War.

(b) March 30 of each year is hereby declared as “Vietnam Veterans Day” in Puerto Rico. The Governor of Puerto Rico, through a proclamation issued at least ten (10) days before said date each year, shall remind the People of Puerto Rico the importance of the activities to be carried out pursuant to said proclamation.

(c) During said day, the Veterans Advocate and the different government entities and instrumentalities shall organize a campaign to such effects.
