§ 5184. Traditional Commerce Day

(a) The fourth Friday of the month of June of each year is hereby declared to be the “Puerto Rico National Traditional Commerce Day”, in order to recognize and extol the work of small and medium business persons, especially those located in the traditional urban center.

(b) The Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, through a proclamation, shall express publicly the recognition on their day to all Puerto Ricans who day after day contribute to the progress of the traditional commerce in Puerto Rico.

(c) The Secretary of State and the Administrator of the Commercial Development Administration are hereby authorize[d] to procure the cooperation of the various departments, agencies and instrumentalities of the Government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico for the celebration of said commemoration day.
