(a) The first week of the month of May of each year is hereby designated as the “Independent Life Week”.
(b) In celebration of said occasion, the Independent Life State Council, the independent life centers in Puerto Rico, the Office of the Advocate for Persons with Disabilities and the Vocational Rehabilitation Administration shall hold training workshops, exhibitions and health fairs throughout the Island. Provided, That they shall exhort the participation of other Commonwealth agencies, community-based organizations, the citizenry in general and private companies and entities to sponsor that activities to be held.
