§ 430. Protection against child abuse

All children shall have the right to be protected by the State against any form of abuse or physical, sexual or emotional violence by their parents, guardians or any other person in charge, as established in the legislation in effect. Said protection entails the development and implementation of effective prevention and treatment and other social programs that give special attention to this problem.
