§ 5622. Unstipulated penalties

Any violations of the provisions of this chapter and the regulations promulgated by the Secretary for which no specific penal sanction has been prescribed, shall be deemed as administrative faults and be punished with a fine of fifty dollars ($50).

The provisions of this chapter and its regulations, pertaining to traffic, shall apply to every driver of a vehicle propelled by motor or muscular energy, including those vehicles that are not deemed to be motor vehicles as described in clauses (a)—(j) of subsection (98) of § 5001 of this title, when such vehicles are operated on public highways, unless the provision, due to its nature, does not apply to the vehicle.
